This coffee table is made from incredible bookmatched Black Limba, a beautiful hardwood found in Tropical West Africa, featuring amazing grain and color variation on a single board. This set features a unique sapwood edge narrowing along the length of the table, complemented by the light yellowish to golden brown colors, all topped with a uniform curl. A real one of a kind table. The base is solid aspen stained black to accompany the Black Limba and keep the focus on the top.

General Finishes Black Wood Stain, Rubio Monocoat, 3 Coats of General Finishes High Performance (Semi-Gloss)(Sprayed On)
First time doing a hard wax oil base and spraying High Performance over top. Worked great. I let the oil cure for 4-5 days. I then did a light buffing with a gray pad.
Stained the legs with GF Wood Stain, really nice color. Wouldn’t recommend using Aspen to make legs again, it’s a bit too soft.
