My very first woodworking project that wasn’t for the work shop. I used hardwood scraps to glue together a large block and cut the coasters with the miter saw. The saw has a 3.5″ depth of cut. Didn’t turn out great but have to start somewhere and learned quite a bit.

Minwax Wipe-on Poly

Sand the wood block before cutting coasters. Sanding all the sides of the individual coasters takes forever. Don’t use Minwax Wipe-on Poly, it’s garbage.
