New assembly table/workbench with inlaid T-Track and tool cubbies. After upgrading to the larger contractor table saw it was time to upgrade my assembly table. I glued two sheets of 3/4″ MDF together, edge banded with 1.5″ thick Red Oak to form a super flat top. I added t-track and installed cubbies on the assembly side of the table to hold tools and materials to help keep the top clear. I added adjustable feet to account for the uneven garage floor, but also wanted to be able to move the table around so I added the side-mounted retractable casters.
