First project using a hardwood plywood and pre-glued edge banding. Using an iron to activate the glue, I attached the walnut edge banding to cover the plywood edges. Relatively easy project but highly functional piece I use in my main entryway. Good use of hardwood plywood, if it can be found for cheaper than the cost of hardwood boards.

Deft Spray Lacquer

Use spray lacquer outdoors, the fumes are vicious and linger a long time. It makes it easy to finish with all the shelf corners and inside the box but I don’t like using spray lacquer. For the edge banding, use the blue double-sided blade to trim along the length and scissors to snip the ends off.
