The Tea Box was my first fine woodworking project with a lot of other “Firsts” as well. First mitered corners, first dado for the lid, first rabbet for bottom, first splines and first waterfall joints for continuous grain wrapping around the entire front.  

I subsequently made a pair of Padauk and Maple tea boxes for family members.
